The document shelf is organized — and ready for your papers

The Documents page is now grouped the way title work actually happens: Ownership & Title, Pierce County, Maps & Surveys, and Lake Stewardship. Each entry is either a public link (Assessor, Auditor, PublicGIS) or a file the owners keep for themselves.

What is not yet here matters as much as what is. Plats, deeds, easements, lake-maintenance invoices, and shoreline surveys should be scanned and added. If a paper is sitting in a kitchen drawer because it felt too particular to email, that is exactly the paper this site is for.

Nothing on this site is a substitute for recorded documents at the Pierce County Auditor. It is a finding aid and a memory. When a scan disagrees with the recorded instrument, the recorded instrument wins, and we correct the archive.
